Outstanding opportunity to join alphaXRT: a leading Australasian supplier in radiation therapy.

alphaXRT specialises in the marketing, sales, service and support of equipment and software used in the treatment of cancer, and for cancer research. alphaXRT has recently been appointed as the exclusive Accuray distributor for TomoTherapy and CyberKnife systems in Australasia.

We are currently seeking Service and Support Engineers to join our successful, clinically experienced team, providing outstanding support to customers in Australia and New Zealand.

Preference will be given to applicants with current experience in radiation therapy, and in particular with TomoTherapy. Experience in the installation and service of X-ray equipment is essential. Duties will include customer service and support, installations (including pre-installation planning), preventative maintenance, and on-site repair. It will also include troubleshooting, repair and testing of QA equipment returned to our premises. Travel will be required. All service activities will require completion of timely and accurate service reports and records, and keeping track of spare parts inventory.

Applicants must have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, be customer focused, and be able to develop strong relationships with our valued customer base.

The successful candidate will have:
- A tertiary qualification in engineering

- Experience in servicing medical diagnostic or radiation therapy equipment
- Experience in customer support, including direct customer communications

- Effective written skills

- Good understanding of ESD requirements
- A valid driving licence
- Experience with medical IT systems is an advantage
